Hiya, I'm Kim Weincek, a native Coloradan, Christian millennial calling the suburbs of Denver my home. For all of you who have not been to Denver, when I say native I don't me indigenous or an American Indian (I am ethnically Polish, Czech, and Irish). A native in Coloradan culture refers to individuals who are born and raised in the state.
As many of you may know, Colorado as been a sanctuary state (not just for migrants) but also for all of you transplants that have made our state crowded. We don't appreciate your invasion seeking solitude in my beautiful state, no we don't want to share our roads or our favorite hiking trails or camping spots we'd rather go back to how it was before the population soared, traffic on I25 doubled travel time, and let's not forget how some of us were able to buy homes, and now I cannot afford to be a home buyer.
Thank you for invading our beautiful state, taking over, I'm kinda over it especially because most natives have chosen to flee to find a place that was similar to how Colorado used to be: affordable, quiet, less crowded, and without the road rage and volume of traffic.
Despite the bad taste in my mouth, I have had the pleasure of meeting wonderfully kind, respectful, intelligent transplants. Your charitable personality's are slowly winning over my sour attitude, you do EXIST. I need reminders of this. You can stay all the other crazies can go. Reader, transplant if I dare say if you wish to continue reading I welcome you in this context because it's remote and not local.

A creative outlet to reflect, encourage, and be honest about the experience of being a Denver Christian Millennial. Yes my poor attitudes, honest emotions, and the reflective process of moving through them to a better outcome that I hope and pray honors my Lord. Have mercy for I am a sinner in need of a Savior.
